Self-Paced Practice Modules let admins assign learning content without a start or end date. Learners can explore modules at their own pace, separate from their deadline-driven curriculum. Modules are organized into folders and appear in the Practice Library on the learner app.
1. Create a Self-Paced Module (Admin)
In the ELSA Business Admin Dashboard, go to Content Management → Practice Modules and click + Create Practice Module. In the top-right corner, confirm Self-Paced Module is selected as the type, then work through the five steps:
Type — confirm Self-Paced Module is selected.
Source — choose where to pull content from: My Programs, My Content, or ELSA Programs.
Content — select the specific program or content to assign.
Preview — review the content before confirming.
Settings — enter a title, select the team(s), optionally add tags, and assign the module to a folder. Click Assign now.
The module will appear immediately in the Self-paced tab, grouped under the folder you selected.
2. Learner Experience
Learners open the ELSA app and go to the Coach tab. A Practice Library card on the home screen shows how many modules are available and how many have been completed. Tapping Explore opens the Practice Library, where modules are grouped by the folders the admin defined. Tapping a module loads the lessons directly, and learners work through them at their own pace with real-time pronunciation feedback.
